Landerer Oberrotweiler Pinot Noir Qualitätswein trocken "Schwarze Erde"

The 2018 Landerer Oberrotweiler Pinot Noir Qualitätswein trocken "Schwarze Erde" (Black Earth) presents a dark, spicy nose with notes of blackcurrant, blackberry, dark sour cherry, and a hint of dark chocolate. Accompanied by herbs and a subtle touch of cold smoke, this wine reveals a vibrant freshness on the palate. With Morello cherry, cassis, dark chocolate, and other herbs, it impresses with velvety tannins and a deep, rounded flavor experience. The robust body, with its elegance and structure, leads to a long, fruity, and fresh finish. A wine by J. Pronk, produced on August 11, 2020 – a delight for connoisseurs of discerning wines.

Landerer

Landerer Winery – this is Burgundy that tastes of volcanic soil. Literally. On the Kaiserstuhl, where ancient volcanic rock forms the soil, the Landerer family has cultivated their vines for generations. The Kirchberg, Eichberg, and Henkenberg vineyards give the wines something that can't be forced – it has to be allowed to happen. Johannes Landerer understood this early on. At 17, he planted his first vineyard, experimented in the barren rock, and developed his own style. In 2016, after the sudden death of his father, Thomas, he took over the winery – a heavy burden he bears with respect and passion. What drives him: that you can truly taste in the glass where the wine comes from. Vintage, soil, microclimate – everything should be perceptible. To achieve this, his team works in harmony with nature, consciously reduces yields, and gives the grapes time to ripen. Wine that tells a story. People who listen.
