Bouvet Tresor Rosé Brut

Bouvet Trésor Rosé Brut — a sparkling wine that demonstrates what Cabernet Franc is capable of when given time and oak aging. Bouvet-Ladubay, one of the most traditional wineries in Saumur, produces this exceptional rosé using the classic method of bottle fermentation — and entirely from a single grape variety, a rare combination.

What makes it special: The Trésor Rosé matures in oak barrels before bottling. This gives it a depth and structure not typically expected in sparkling wines of this type. The color is a delicate salmon pink, the perlage fine and persistent. On the nose, it opens with red berries, brioche, a hint of vanilla, and a subtle note of sweet tobacco—complex, but never overpowering.

On the palate, it offers vibrant freshness, elegant toasty aromas, and a gentle residual sweetness that makes for a long and pleasant finish. Awarded the Best of Show Gold Medal at Mundus Vini (September 2025) , 92 points by Falstaff 2023 , and 91 points by Wine Advocate 2023 .

Enjoy it as an aperitif, with light appetizers, aged goat cheese, or berry desserts. Those who appreciate Crémant de Loire or classic rosé Champagne will discover a characterful alternative here.

Price-performance: great !

A great Crémant! I like the floral notes, yet dry and a nice perlage.

Bouvet Ladubay

Bouvet Ladubay – Loire elegance since 1851. The 23-year-old Étienne Bouvet and his wife Célestine Ladubay founded this traditional house and conquered an eight-kilometer-long network of cellars in Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent. Today, the fifth generation runs the business. In spectacular tuff stone cellars, the magic of the Loire matures: 7 million bottles annually, 60 percent of which are exported. Using the traditional method, sparkling perfection is created – from Chenin Blanc to Cabernet Franc. "Official Supplier to the British Parliament" – a title that stands for quality. Whether Crémant de Loire, Saumur Brut, or Rosé Excellence: here you get Champagne complexity without the Champagne price tag. Authentic Loire lifestyle in a glass.
