About Delas

Maison Delas Frères –
Elegance and terroir from the Rhône Valley
Maison Delas Frères is one of the oldest wine houses in the Rhône Valley – founded in 1835, with a turning point that redefined the house: in 1996, Fabrice Rosset and oenologist Jacques Grange took over the management and made Delas one of the defining names of the Rhône. Grange brought Burgundian precision – plot-by-plot vinification, consistent terroir focus, elegance before power.
The foundation: 32 hectares of their own top sites in Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, and Crozes-Hermitage. Syrah on granite, Marsanne on limestone – each plot tells a different story, each wine carries the signature of its origin. No standardization, no compromise in the aging process.
In 2019, Delas moved into a new cellar vault in Tain-l'Hermitage – a new building that translates the house's philosophy into stone: clarity, precision, space for the fruit. What lands in the glass is the Rhône in its most concentrated form: fresh, profound, with the unmistakable character of the Northern Rhône.
