Côtes-du-Rhône Saint Esprit AC 0.375L

A dry red wine from the Rhône Valley that brings the south of France into your glass in an uncomplicated way. The half-bottle with 0.375 liters is perfect for an evening for two or for a meal where a whole bottle is not needed.

The Côtes-du-Rhône Saint Esprit comes from Delas, a house with a long tradition in the Rhône. The Grenache grape variety defines the style of the southern Rhône: ripe fruit, warmth, and a soft, round texture.

In the glass, the wine glows in deep ruby red with plum-colored reflections. The nose reveals dark berries, violets, fine spice notes, and a hint of licorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and balanced, with finely integrated tannins. The finish remains dry and spicy.

Recommendation: Serve it at 16 to 18 °C. It pairs well with braised dishes, grilled lamb, duck breast, ratatouille, or a strong hard cheese.

The Domaine

Delas

Maison Delas Frères – the soul of the Rhône Valley. A traditional house since 1835, but 1996 brought the turning point. Fabrice Rosset and oenologist Jacques Grange took over – and made Delas one of the "big four" of the Rhône.

Grange, with Burgundian experience, focuses on elegance instead of pure power. Parcel-by-parcel vinification, uncompromising terroir focus. 32 hectares of their own top sites: Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage. The result: wines with freshness, depth, and character.

In 2019, Delas moved into the new cellar vault in Tain-l'Hermitage – after almost 190 years into the light, where it has long belonged. Rhône as it tastes.
