Vite Colte Casa in Collina Barbaresco
The Vite Colte Casa in Collina Barbaresco is a classic example of Piedmontese wine – born from the interplay of different microclimates, as the historical tradition of the Terre da Vino cooperative has always cultivated. A wine for all those who want to discover or rediscover Nebbiolo in its approachable yet characterful form.
In the glass, it displays a deep garnet red with a dark core . The nose opens with notes of tobacco and smoke, accompanied by a subtle, ripe cherry. On the palate, it is fresh and lively – the tannins are remarkably supple for a Barbaresco, without the wine losing any depth. The finish is long and lingering.
Behind this character lies meticulous work: After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for twelve months in large oak barrels , followed by another twelve months in the bottle – both minimum requirements of the Barbaresco DOCG, which are not only met here, but used effectively to bring the Nebbiolo into balance.
Especially recommended for:
- Braised beef and game dishes
- Mature hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano or Grana Padano
- Mushroom risotto or pasta with truffles
A Barbaresco with genuine value for money – ideal for everyday enjoyment as well as for special occasions.
