Vite Colte Roero Arneis Villata DOCG

The Vite Colte Roero Arneis Villata DOCG is a white still wine from Piedmont – more precisely from the Roero, that gently rolling region on the left bank of the Tanaro River, opposite the more imposing Langhe, yet possessing its own distinct character. Anyone familiar with the Arneis grape knows: it is not an easy variety. Headstrong, delicate, but in the right hands, exceptionally elegant.

In the glass, the Villata displays a straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and a hint of almond, complemented by delicate floral notes and subtle minerality. On the palate, it is smooth, fresh, and pleasantly dry, with a lively acidity that ensures a long and clean finish.

This wine is a reliable companion for many occasions:

  • As an aperitif – served chilled, in a slender white wine glass
  • Antipasti from Piedmont: Vitello tonnato, Bagna cauda, aged goat cheese
  • With fish dishes, light poultry or creamy risottos
  • An uncomplicated summer wine that's simply enjoyable on the terrace.
