Taylors Pass Single Vineyard Chardonnay

Smoky minerality, brioche, and citrus fruits are unmistakable indicators of the Chardonnay from the Taylor's Pass vineyard. Villa Maria's single-varietal Chardonnay gives the terroir ample room to express itself. Expressive and long with finely integrated oak. Brilliant straw yellow, an elegant, slightly smoky-mineral bouquet with the unmistakable Taylor's Pass aromas of freshly grated lemon zest, flint, and brioche. On the palate, the smoky mineral notes of the bouquet meld with fruity aromas of grapefruit, peach, melon, quince, pineapple, and rather subtle hints of oak (almonds, vanilla, delicate toasty notes), silky, full-bodied, and vibrant with a long finish.
