Villa Maria Private Am Chardonnay East Coast

Color: Bright, lustrous golden yellow with greenish reflections. Aroma: Fresh, fruit-forward bouquet of juicy pears, ripe peaches, and delicate notes of citrus blossom. Taste: Juicy, full-bodied, yet powerfully structured and smoothly balanced. The refreshing, aromatic fruit of the bouquet dominates the palate, supported by seamlessly integrated oak notes – best enjoyed young! The fully ripened grapes for Villa Maria East Coast Chardonnay are milled and pressed at the winery. The musts are gently clarified through cold sedimentation and then fermented at low temperatures to preserve maximum aromatic fruit and freshness. Some batches undergo malolactic fermentation after fermentation, while the remaining wine is aged on the fine lees (with regular stirring of the lees) to give the East Coast blend structure and its uniquely smooth richness on the palate.
