Icon Woven Sauvignon

Icon Woven Sauvignon
A Sauvignon Blanc that shows what Marlborough can do when taken seriously: structured, textured, with real depth instead of mere freshness.
Villa Maria is one of New Zealand's most renowned wineries — founded in Auckland in 1961 by George Fistonich, it now has vineyards in Hawke's Bay and Marlborough. The Icon Woven line represents the pinnacle of their portfolio: single-varietal wines from select vineyards, sustainably farmed and certified.
In the glass, the wine displays a mature profile: dried lemon, mango, and a hint of peach sorbet. No green sharpness, no young gooseberry—instead, a medium body with lively but integrated acidity. On the palate, it offers plenty of volume, the finish is long and aromatic, with lingering fruit without sweetness.
