Villa Maria Blush

Villa Maria Blush
Villa Maria Blush isn't quite a white wine and not quite a rosé – it's a unique character from New Zealand that will surprise you from the very first sip. Those who know and love Sauvignon Blanc will discover something new here: a delicate pink color that doesn't come from red grapes, but from a small percentage of Merlot, which enriches the blend with floral notes and subtle red berry accents.
In the glass, a vibrant array of aromas unfolds: passion fruit and fresh herbs – typical of Marlborough, the home of Sauvignon Blanc – mingle with a gentle, berry-like depth. The wine tastes fresh and lively without being overpowering, combining the crispness of a white wine with the sensual lightness of a summer wine.
- Grape variety: Sauvignon Blanc with a hint of Merlot
- Origin: New Zealand (Villa Maria Estate)
- Color: delicate pink – naturally due to the Merlot content
Enjoy Blush chilled on the terrace, as an aperitif, or with light summer dishes: grilled fish, goat cheese salads, or Asian cuisine with herbs and citrus aromas are excellent pairings. A wine that sparks conversation – if only because of its charming ambiguity.
