Trentenare Fiano

Trentenare Fiano
Fiano from Cilento – that means mineral freshness, Mediterranean warmth, and a grape variety that has been rooted in Campania since antiquity. The Trentenare from the San Salvatore winery shows why Fiano works so convincingly in this region.
San Salvatore cultivates its vineyards in the Cilento National Park south of Paestum according to biodynamic principles – wines that directly reflect the character of their origin. The Trentenare grows on a south-southwest-facing slope in the Cannito vineyard, named after the village of the same name that overlooks the site. Plenty of sunshine, Mediterranean soils, and Atlantic breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea.
In the glass, the wine shines a bright straw yellow. The nose reveals citrus blossom, white peach, and a hint of almond – a typical Fiano profile, fresh and precise. On the palate, it is present yet elegant: lively acidity, a creamy texture, and a long finish with a slight bitter almond note that adds length.
