Falanghina

Falanghina from Campania — this southern Italian grape variety shows here what it can do: fresh fruit, Mediterranean spice and a clear, invigorating acidity structure without any heaviness.

San Salvatore is located in Cilento, one of the wildest and most pristine regions of Campania, south of Salerno. The winery cultivates its vineyards organically and focuses on grape varieties that have been at home here for centuries — Falanghina being one of them.

Produced exclusively in stainless steel tanks, the fruit remains pure: on the nose, banana, apricot, and elderflower, along with a hint of Mediterranean herbs—thyme and dry grass. On the palate, it is fresh and direct, with lively acidity and a clean, mineral finish.

  • Flavors: Banana, apricot, elderflower, Mediterranean herbs
  • Structure: fresh acidity, light body, clean finish
  • Serving temperature: 10–12 °C
  • Drinking window: now until 2026

It goes well with grilled fish, seafood with lemon, light pasta dishes with mussels, or a summery Caprese salad.
