Falanghina
Falanghina from Campania — this southern Italian grape variety shows what it can do here: fresh fruit, Mediterranean spice, and a clear, invigorating acidity structure without any heaviness.
San Salvatore is located in Cilento, one of the wildest and most pristine stretches of land in Campania, south of Salerno. The winery manages its sites organically and relies on grape varieties that have been at home here for centuries — Falanghina is one of them.
Aged exclusively in steel tanks, the fruit remains unadulterated: on the nose, banana, apricot, and elderflower, plus a hint of Mediterranean herbs — thyme, dry grass. On the palate, fresh and direct, with lively acidity and a clean, mineral finish.
- Aromas: banana, apricot, elderflower, Mediterranean herbs
- Structure: fresh acidity, light body, clear finish
- Serving temperature: 10–12 °C
Pairs well with grilled fish, seafood with lemon, light pasta dishes with mussels, or a summery Caprese.
