Roederer Collection Deluxe Champagne Louis Roederer 1.5L

The Collection 245 from Louis Roederer stands for the modern interpretation of the house and is based on the 2020 harvest, a vintage with balanced climatic conditions and excellently ripened grapes. After a mild, rainy winter, a dry summer followed with several heat waves, which produced wines of remarkable ripeness and precision. In the glass, the Collection 245 presents itself in luminous golden yellow with a fine, uniform perlage. The bouquet is intense and multi-layered, characterized by ripe nectarines and concentrated citrus fruits, complemented by notes of pollen, almonds, and fine harvest aromas. Subtle smoke nuances add additional complexity. On the palate, the Champagne is supple and harmonious, with a dense texture and precise structure. The fine perlage is elegantly integrated and accompanied by chalky minerality and saline accents. The long finish convinces with clarity, depth, and fine wood notes. A characterful Champagne with expression, balance, and elegance.

The Champagne House

Champagne Louis Roederer

Since the founding of the house in 1776 in Reims, the Louis Roederer winery has been in the possession of the same family. It is now one of the most important independent family businesses in Champagne. Frederic Rouzaud, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Directeur Général.

His goal is to invent the champagne of tomorrow so that Louis Roederer will still be a reference in 20 years. The terroir extends over a total area of 240 hectares exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne river. Since 2001, a gradual conversion of the majority to biodynamic cultivation has been taking place, which is expected to be completed in 2020.
