Roederer Cristal Rosé Brut Vinothèque Champagne Louis Roederer 0.75L

The Cristal Rosé Brut Vinothèque is the late-disgorged version of Roederer's prestige cuvée — disgorged after additional years in the chalk cellars to achieve maximum depth and aging complexity. The result differs noticeably from the regular Cristal Rosé: calmer perlage, denser aromatics, and a finish that lingers long.

Champagne Louis Roederer is one of the few large houses that still covers a large part of its grape requirements from its own holdings — around 240 hectares in the best sites of Champagne. The Cristal, known since 1876 as the house's prestige cuvée, is traditionally based on Chardonnay from Grand Cru parcels. The Vinothèque line is created from the strongest vintages and rests significantly longer on the lees before being disgorged.

In the glass, the wine glows in a vibrant salmon pink. The nose reveals aromas of dried raspberry, brioche, and white truffle, underpinned by a mineral, almost salty depth. On the palate, it feels creamy and precise at the same time — the acidity is integrated but present, the finish long and spicy with a hint of almond and orange peel.

Best served at 8–10 °C. Pairs with lobster, scallops with saffron sauce, or a matured Époisses — or simply enjoyed on its own as an occasion in itself.
