Roederer Brut Vintage Champagne Louis Roederer 0.75L 0.75L

Roederer Brut Millésimé is a vintage Champagne from the House of Louis Roederer – one of the few major Champagne houses that manages its own vineyards. This vintage demonstrates what a single year in Champagne can achieve: no compensation through reserve wines, but rather the pure character of a harvest.

Chardonnay forms the backbone of this cuvée. In the glass, it displays a fine, persistent perlage. Aromas of citrus peel, white peach, and a hint of fresh brioche are complemented by a clear, invigorating acidity and a dry, mineral finish. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.

It's perfect as an aperitif, as well as with scallops, lobster, or sushi. Those who age it for a few more years will be rewarded with greater depth and complexity.

Champagne Louis Roederer

Since its founding in Reims in 1776, the Louis Roederer estate has remained in the same family. Today, it is one of the most important independent family-owned wineries in Champagne. Frederic Rouzard, a direct descendant of Louis Roederer, is the current Director General. His goal is to create the Champagne of tomorrow, ensuring that Louis Roederer will still be a benchmark in 20 years' time. The vineyards cover a total area of 240 hectares, exclusively in Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites along the Marne River. Since 2001, the majority of the estate has been undergoing a gradual conversion to biodynamic farming, which is scheduled for completion in 2020.
