Rocciapiana

Rocciapiana
Rocciapiana is a white wine from Famiglia Cotarella/Falesco in Umbria, made from Chardonnay grapes. It appears pale yellow in the glass and has an overall elegant, fresh, and delicately fruity character.
The nose is dominated by citrus fruits, white blossoms, and subtle apple notes. On the palate, it is dry, lively, and balanced, with crisp freshness, moderate alcohol, and a delicate minerality. Oak plays a rather minor role in this style, allowing the wine to focus on fruit and clarity.
Rocciapiana pairs well with fish, light poultry, light appetizers, salads, or simply as an aperitif. It is best served well chilled at around 8–10 °C to best showcase its fresh and elegant character.
