Sodale Lazio IGP Magnum

Sodale Lazio IGP Magnum
Friendship in a bottle — that's the idea behind Sodale . The name derives from the Italian "sodalizio ," which means something like close bond. And indeed, this red wine from Lazio IGP embodies exactly that: a harmonious blend of fruit, spice, and oak that is neither overwhelming nor overpowering, yet still possesses character.
Behind Sodale is the Cotarella family —one of the most renowned winemaking families in central Italy. Riccardo Cotarella is considered one of Italy's most influential oenologists; his wines from Lazio have firmly established the region on the international wine map. Sodale is their most approachable style: expertly crafted and designed for enjoyment.
In the glass, ripe red berries—cherry, blackberry—are enveloped in sweet spice notes such as cinnamon and clove. Oak aging introduces subtle vanilla without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, it is round and medium-bodied, with silky tannins and a soft, pleasantly long finish.
The magnum bottle makes it the ideal choice for the table with friends — just as the name promises.
