Planeta Plumbago Nero d'Avola Rosso

Planeta Plumbago is named after the ironwort that grows in the fields around Ulmo. In the glass, it displays a ruby-red color, and its powerful bouquet offers aromas of dark fruits such as plums and blackberries, as well as more complex notes of incense, jasmine, and black truffle. The wine is pleasantly soft, rounded, and remarkably light on the palate. The oak notes blend harmoniously into the overall impression. 87 points from Wine Advocate Robert Parker for the 2016 vintage. Silver medal from Meininger - Mundus Vini for the 2016 vintage.
