Oestricher Riesling dry

A classic Rheingau Riesling that showcases the region's strengths: clear fruit, lively acidity, dry finish without harshness.

The Geheimrat J. Wegeler wineries are among the most traditional in the Rheingau region. The estate cultivates vineyards in Oestrich, Rüdesheim, and Bernkastel-Kues, focusing on single-varietal Riesling that highlights the region's minerality.

Straw yellow in the glass with green reflections. The nose reveals yellow pear, peach, and white blossoms, along with a delicate herbal note. On the palate, the wine is lean and lively: the citrus acidity provides structure without being harsh, with a slightly peppery finish.

Serving temperature: 10–12 °C.
Pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, or light pasta dishes with herb sauce. Also a good choice as an aperitif.
