The Wegeler Riesling CHARTA dry from the Geheimrat J. Wegeler wineries is a classic Rheingau Riesling for all those who appreciate dry white wines with substance and character – without wanting to forgo elegance.
In the glass, it shines a beautiful straw yellow . The nose is inviting with ripe yellow fruits and a fresh citrus note that whets the appetite for more. On the palate, it is both soft and spicy – with a lively acidity that lends it juiciness and length. The finish is mineral, as a true Rheingau wine should be.
As a blend from several vineyard sites in the middle and lower Rheingau, it reflects the signature style of one of the region's most traditional wineries: precise work in the vineyard, careful vinification, and an unmistakable style.
