Privy Councillor J Riesling Grand Cuvée

The Geheimrat J Riesling presents itself in a clear, straw-yellow color. Its dense bouquet is dominated by aromas of ripe, yellow fruits. On the palate, flavors of citrus and green apples prevail. The mineral terroir is not overly noticeable due to the vinous acidity. It leaves a very harmonious, beautifully structured impression. Following the principle of the great châteaux in Bordeaux, which do not use vineyard designations, we consider Geheimrat "J" to be the "first wine" of our estate in Oestrich. Great wines from up to 15 different "Premier Cru" vineyards form the basis of each vintage's blend and the pinnacle of our quality pyramid for dry wines.
