Johannisberger Riesling off-dry

Johannisberger Riesling off-dry
Riesling from the Rheingau, as it should be: fresh, juicy, with the typical tension between fruit and acidity – and the famous Schloss Johannisberg as the address in the background.
The Geheimrat J. Wegeler winery is one of the most traditional names in the Rheingau region, with roots stretching back to the 19th century. Their Johannisberger Riesling feinherb comes from one of the Rheingau's most prestigious vineyards – a soil composed of Taunus quartzite and phyllite slate, which gives the Riesling its characteristic minerality.
In the glass, it displays a bright golden yellow. The nose offers aromas of apple, pear, and ripe apricot – classic Rheingau fruit, clear and understated. On the palate, the subtle residual sweetness brings out the fruit's vibrancy without being heavy: peppery spice, lively acidity, and a mineral finish keep everything in perfect balance.
