Mulderbosch Chardonnay

Mulderbosch Chardonnay
A Chardonnay from the Franschhoek Valley that shows how South Africa interprets this grape variety: no wood bomb, no flat fruit melt, but a wine with real structure and freshness.
Mulderbosch has been one of the most reliable addresses in the South African wine scene for years. The winery works with grapes from the cooler Franschhoek Valley – a region where Atlantic influences ensure natural acidity and aromatic precision. The result is varietally honest wines without frills.
In the glass, orange zest and lemon blossom dominate, plus ripe stone fruit – apricot, white peach – and a subtle background of toffee and vanilla. On the palate, lively acidity combines with dense texture and fine creaminess. The wood is integrated, not intrusive. The finish remains long, structured, and spicy.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs with grilled sea bass, chicken with lemon sauce, or a ripe Brie.
