Mulderbosch Chardonnay

Mulderbosch Chardonnay
A Chardonnay from the Franschhoek Valley that shows how South Africa interprets this grape variety: not an oak bomb, not a flat fruitiness, but a wine with real structure and freshness.
Mulderbosch has been one of the most reliable names in the South African wine scene for years. The winery works with grapes from the cooler Franschhoek Valley – a region where Atlantic influences ensure natural acidity and precise aromas. The result is varietally honest wines without any embellishment.
Orange peel and lemon blossom dominate the glass, accompanied by ripe stone fruit – apricot, white peach – and a subtle background of toffee and vanilla. On the palate, lively acidity combines with a dense texture and fine creaminess. The oak is integrated, not intrusive. The finish is long, structured, and spicy.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with grilled sea bass, chicken with lemon sauce, or a mature Brie. Best enjoyed now until 2027.
