Marzadro Grappa Bivitigno Aromatica 0.7L
A grappa made from two aromatic grape varieties: Gewürztraminer and Muscat — both known for their floral notes and fruity depth. The result is a bivitigno (literally: "from two vines") with a pronounced aromatic intensity that reveals its origin even in the glass.
Marzadro has been producing grappa in Nogaredo, Trentino, since 1949. The family-run company uses discontinuous steam distillation —a gentler method that protects the volatile aromatic compounds of the grape pomace instead of overheating them. This grappa is then aged in wooden barrels, giving the natural freshness of the grape aromas a calmer, smoother base.
On the nose: rose petals, orange zest, and a hint of nutmeg. On the palate, it displays a fuller texture than unaged grappas—the velvety structure carries the floral notes into a long, slightly spicy finish.
Serving suggestion: Neat at room temperature or slightly chilled (12–14 °C). Classically served as a digestif after an Italian meal — or with dark chocolate and dried figs.
