Marzadro Limoncino Riviera dei Limoni Lemon Liqueur
A classic lemon liqueur from Trentino — intensely flavored with fresh citrus peel, clearly structured, with the typical tension between sweetness and acidity.
Marzadro is one of the most renowned grappa distilleries in Northern Italy, located in Nogaredo, Trentino, since 1949. The Marzadro family developed their Limoncino according to the traditional recipe of the Riviera dei Limoni on Lake Garda—a region known for its lemon cultivation for centuries. The Limoncino is made exclusively from lemon peel extracts, with no juice concentrate used.
The glass is dominated by bright, fresh lemon oil, accompanied by a hint of blossom honey and white sugar. The finish remains surprisingly lively—the natural bitterness of the peel balances the sweetness and prevents the soporific effect of many industrially produced liqueurs.
Serve straight from the freezer in small glasses. It's perfect as a dessert, with panna cotta or lemon tart. It also works well as a cocktail ingredient in a Limoncello Spritz with dry Prosecco or in a Sour with lemon juice and egg white.
