Langenmorgen G.C. Riesling dry QW Palatinate 1.5L

The Langenmorgen is one of the great Riesling sites of the Pfalz — a Grand Cru from Wachenheim that bears the signature of Dr. Bürklin-Wolf: precise, profound, without ornament. The winery is one of the oldest and most well-known addresses in the Pfalz, farms biodynamically, and is Demeter-certified. The Langenmorgen site is located at the edge of the forest, which is immediately evident in the aroma profile.

In the glass, this Riesling shows ripe peach and apricot notes, underpinned by fresh citrus zest and a spicy, almost resinous-woody undertone — typical for this site. The acidity is present but integrated; the finish is mineral and long. The 1.5-liter format keeps the wine fresh for longer and is particularly suitable for a table with several guests.

Serve it at 11–13 °C with grilled zander with herb butter, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or a mature mountain cheese. It also unfolds its strengths with Asian-spiced poultry — such as ginger chicken or miso salmon.
