Langenmorgen G.C. Riesling dry QW Pfalz 0.75L

The Langenmorgen is one of the most renowned Riesling sites in the Palatinate — an Erste Lage in the heart of Forst, whose soils of warm variegated sandstone and loamy loess sediment give the wine a characteristic ripeness and depth. Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf, rooted in the Palatinate for centuries and bio-certified (DE-ÖKO-003), manages these plots with the claim of letting the site speak — consistent renunciation of compromises in the vineyard.

In the glass, the Langenmorgen shows ripe peach and apricot notes, underpinned by a hint of forest herbs and a fresh citrus line. The acidity is precise and well-integrated, the body dense without heaviness, the finish long and mineral — a Riesling with a real site profile.

Served at 10–12 °C, it goes well with Palatinate Saumagen, fried zander with mustard sauce, or strong mountain cheese. Those who drink it pure get a good picture of what the Palatinate can do in its best sites.
