Forst Village Riesling dry QW Pfalz

The Forst Village Riesling shows how precise a village wine from the Pfalz can be: dry, clearly defined, and with a mineral drive. It comes from the Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery in Wachenheim, one of Germany's most well-known Riesling estates. The winery is organic-certified and focuses on origin and balance instead of loud effects.

In the nose, citrus and grapefruit appear, plus ripe notes of peach and apricot and a hint of flint. On the palate, the wine appears dry, precise, and well-structured, carried by a mineral contour. The finale remains long. With some air in the glass, it gains expression and becomes more harmonious; you discover more details step by step.

Serve it at 9 to 11 °C. It pairs well with pan-fried zander, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, sushi, or a mild fresh goat cheese. It works just as well solo as a companion for a long evening at the table.
