Wachenheimer Altenburg P.C. Riesling dry QW Pfalz 1.5L

A dry Riesling from Wachenheim that brings together taut tension and creamy texture. Here as a 1.5-liter magnum for larger dinner parties.

The Altenburg is one of the cooler sites in the Palatinate. The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery in Wachenheim is one of the well-known names in the region. The designation P.C. stands for Premier Cru, and the wine comes from organic farming.

On the nose, it shows ripe pear, juicy apricot, and a hint of chamomile blossom. On the palate, it is dry, with lively acidity and silky structure. The mineral clarity meets a soft, creamy texture that gives the wine depth. The finish carries the freshness long into the aftertaste.

Recommendation: Zander in butter, white asparagus, or mature mountain cheese. Serve it at 8–10 °C. The magnum bottle is suitable for holidays and shared evenings with several guests.
