Landerer Oberrotweiler Sauvignon Blanc Qualitätswein trocken

The Landerer Oberrotweiler Sauvignon Blanc Qualitätswein trocken (dry quality wine) impresses with a very pronounced nose, offering notes of lemongrass, peach, gooseberries, preserved pear, fresh herbs, and freshly cut grass. On the palate, it is clear and delicately juicy, extremely fruit-forward with aromas of gooseberries, tart citrus, white cassis, and fresh pear. Accompanied by notes of pastry and herbs, it displays a powerful presence with backbone and vibrant freshness. The saline minerality lends it a pleasant tension. The finish is characterized by a complexity of fresh gooseberries, pears, apples, herbs, and a hint of pastry. Overall, this wine is very dry, crisp, and full of character.

Landerer

Landerer Winery – this is Burgundy that tastes of volcanic soil. Literally. On the Kaiserstuhl, where ancient volcanic rock forms the soil, the Landerer family has cultivated their vines for generations. The Kirchberg, Eichberg, and Henkenberg vineyards give the wines something that can't be forced – it has to be allowed to happen. Johannes Landerer understood this early on. At 17, he planted his first vineyard, experimented in the barren rock, and developed his own style. In 2016, after the sudden death of his father, Thomas, he took over the winery – a heavy burden he bears with respect and passion. What drives him: that you can truly taste in the glass where the wine comes from. Vintage, soil, microclimate – everything should be perceptible. To achieve this, his team works in harmony with nature, consciously reduces yields, and gives the grapes time to ripen. Wine that tells a story. People who listen.
