Kloster Eberbach Rheingau Riesling dry

Kloster Eberbach Rheingau Riesling dry
A Riesling that showcases the Rheingau in its most accessible form: fruit-forward, spicy, with lively acidity and a pleasant length.
Eberbach Monastery is one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in Germany – founded in 1136 by Cistercian monks in the Rheingau region, today a state-owned winery and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monks laid the foundation for systematic viticulture in the region; the winery continues their tradition with Riesling from the Rheingau vineyards.
In the glass, the wine displays aromas of fresh apple, Williams pear, and a hint of apple compote, underpinned by the typical Rheingau spiciness. On the palate, it is juicy and harmonious – the acidity is present but integrated, and the finish is clean and medium-long.
- Dishes: Grilled chicken with lemon herbs, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, light fish cake or young goat cheese
- Temperature: 10–12 °C
- Drinking window: Now until 2027
An uncomplicated introduction to Rheingau Riesling – ideal for everyday use or as an aperitif.
