Hammel & Cie Sophie Helene Petit Blanc dry
The Sophie Helene Petit Blanc is the everyday wine from Hammel & Cie – uncomplicated, fruity and made for immediate drinking.
The Hammel & Cie winery is one of the established producers in the Palatinate region. Christoph Hammel named this wine after his daughter Sophie Helene – a personal touch that perfectly captures the character of the cuvée: approachable, lighthearted, and smooth.
This cuvée combines four grape varieties: Rivaner, Kerner, Scheurebe, and Pinot Blanc . Rivaner and Kerner provide the fresh fruit notes – apple, mirabelle plum, and honeydew melon – while the Scheurebe contributes gooseberry and grapefruit. The Pinot Blanc rounds out the wine with body and a light floral aroma. On the palate, it is juicy, with lively acidity and a short, pleasant finish.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs well with light summer dishes – tarte flambée, salads with goat cheese, grilled vegetables, or Asian noodle dishes with citrus notes. Drink now.
