Glen Moray Speyside Single Malt Whiskey 18 Years

In 2018, Glen Moray released its 18-year-old distillery bottling. This single malt, matured for 18 years in new American oak casks, is surprisingly lighter and more delicate than its 15-year-old sibling, yet remarkably fresh. Sweet and creamy notes take center stage, while the fruit aromas are perfectly balanced. The dominant alcohol note dissipates quickly, giving way to sweet fruit, a hint of smoke, coconut, vanilla, and spice. The body is medium-bodied but powerful, with honey, stewed fruit, herbs, malt, pepper, and a light touch of mint. The creamy and spicy finish is characterized by coffee and roasted notes and gradually becomes drier.
