Glen Moray Speyside Single Malt Whiskey 12 Years

Glen Moray Speyside Single Malt Whiskey 12 Years
A classic Speyside style: fruity, smooth and approachable — Glen Moray 12 Years shows why the region is known for its easy-drinking single malts.
The distillery is located in Elgin, in the heart of Speyside, and is one of the oldest continuously operating distilleries in the region. Glen Moray matures exclusively in American oak casks, mostly ex-bourbon—a decision that gives the whisky its characteristic light, fruity style. Twelve years of maturation in warehouses right on the banks of the River Lossie ensure a calm, even aging process.
On the nose, fresh pear, ripe apricot, and a hint of vanilla cream. Soft and medium-bodied on the palate, with notes of peach, beeswax, and a light oak structure. The finish is pleasantly short and slightly sweet—no harshness, no peat.
Neat at room temperature or with a small ice cube to open up the fruit. A good entry point for whisky novices, but also a reliable choice for anyone looking for a straightforward after-work dram. A classic highball with ginger ale also works well.
