The Old Bushmills Distillery

The Old Bushmills Distillery – founded in 1608, licensed since 1784, and thus the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world . Located in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the edge of the rugged Atlantic coast, it has cultivated a craft for over 400 years that is second to none.

What makes Bushmills special? The signature triple distillation process , which makes each whiskey exceptionally smooth – and cask finishes in Oloroso sherry casks, which give Black Bush its dark, rich depth. Irish whiskey as it should be: approachable, complex, and simply good.

Bushmills has been located on the Atlantic coast of Northern Ireland since 1608.

On the edge of County Antrim, where the weather is harsh and the tradition long, Bushmills triple distills its whiskey – the result is a smoothness typical of Ireland, which also makes more complex bottlings like the Black Bush (Oloroso sherry cask maturation) accessible.
