The Old Pulteney 12 Years Old Whisky displays a rich golden color with a hint of copper. On the nose, it is intense and vibrant, while on the palate it presents itself as compact and smooth. Its refreshing citrus aroma harmonizes perfectly with dark caramel and creamy vanilla. The subtle saltiness in the background evokes the coasts of Caithness. Over time, the aromas of honey and cream evolve into ripe fruits and spices, rounded off by a light sea salt note in the finish. The Old Pulteney 12 Years Old is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in an intense flavor of spices and vanilla.

Old Pulteney Plc

The Old Pulteney Distillery is located in Wick, a coastal town in the far north of Scotland. Founded in 1826, it is one of the oldest distilleries in the country. The name "Pulteney" comes from the district of the same name. The whisky is characterized by the influence of the rugged North Sea – salty maritime notes define its flavor. The distillery is now part of Inver House Distillers Ltd.
