Glen Moray Classic Port Cask Single Malt Whiskey

Glen Moray Classic Port Cask Single Malt Whiskey
A classic Speyside single malt with a fruity cask finish: The Glen Moray Classic Port Cask matures first in American oak casks before spending eight months in port wine casks from Porto Cruz — recognizable by the gentle pink hue in the glass.
The Glen Moray Distillery has been located in Elgin, in the heart of Speyside, since 1897. The distillery operates without peat and is known for a friendly, fruit-forward style — uncomplicated and approachable.
The nose reveals ripe red berry fruit, plum, and vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, dark cherry, caramel, and a subtle wood spice follow. The finish is soft and medium-long, with a sweet note of port wine cream and dried figs.
- Pure: at room temperature — this is how fruit aromas and sweetness are best brought out.
- On the rocks: a single ice cube further reveals the depth of the fruit.
- Occasion: An introduction to the world of Speyside malts or as a relaxing after-work whisky.
