Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Franconian Mixed Set

Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg Franconian Mixed Set
A wine that keeps Franconian viticultural heritage alive: In the Gemischter Satz (field blend), different grape varieties grow side by side in the same vineyard — harvested, pressed, and fermented as a single lot.
Bickel-Stumpf cultivates the Frickenhäuser Kapellenberg in the Franconian Maindreieck, one of the warmest wine-growing regions in Germany with shell limestone and Keuper soils. The winery stands for carefully crafted Franconian wines with a clear regional connection.
Because the individual varieties ripen at different times and bring different levels of acidity, an aroma emerges in the glass that no single-varietal wine can deliver: spicy herbal notes meet bright citrus fruit, plus a lively but integrated acidity and a dry, mineral-influenced finish. The texture is lean, yet the wine is never thin.
- Food: Franconian Vesper (snack platter), Schäufele (pork shoulder), goat cheese, or vegetable dishes with herbs
- Temperature: 10–12 °C

Bickel-Stumpf – a small, exquisite family winery from Franconia. Two special vineyard sites, two distinct characters: the Mönchshof in Frickenhausen, situated on barren limestone by the river; and the Rothlauf on the Thüngersheim Johannisberg, on red sandstone. The result? Mönchshof wines: full-bodied, profound, with Burgundian elegance. Rothlauf wines: delicate, straightforward, and memorable. A member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates), cultivated with respect for nature. Not a mass-produced product, but craftsmanship you can taste.
