Elena Walch Sauvignon Blanc Vigna Castel Ringberg
Good wine does not grow by itself, says Elena Walch when you talk to her about quality. And the wines she coaxes from her dreamily situated top site Vigna Castel Ringberg clearly bear her personal signature.
The Sauvignon Blanc Vigna Castel Ringberg is a multi-layered white wine that tickles the nose with fine notes of elderberry, peach, tropical fruits, and slightly smoky tones. The clearly structured, fruity body, the well-integrated acidity, and the majestic finish make the Vigna Castel Ringberg Sauvignon Blanc a must for lovers of the Sauvignon grape.

The Winery
Elena Walch – architect by passion, winemaker by conviction. Since 1985, she has dedicated herself to her vineyards with full commitment. Her motto: "Good wine does not grow by itself!"
She has uncompromisingly transformed the two South Tyrolean cru sites, Castel Ringberg and Kastelaz, which are solely owned by the family. Piece by piece, she converted the pergola systems into modern Guyot cultivation with Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, and Merlot.
The result: low yields, healthy grapes, gentle aging with targeted use of wood. Fruity, elegant white wines – and red wines, pure "tigers on velvet paws." South Tyrolean top class with a clear signature.
