Elena Walch Pinot Bianco Selezione DOC

A Pinot Blanc that shows what Alto Adige can get out of this often underestimated grape variety: clear fruit, lively acidity, and a precision that convinces from the first sip.

Elena Walch is one of the defining addresses in South Tyrol. The winery, based in Tramin, manages vineyards in the Adige Valley and on the hills around Kurtatsch — soils of limestone and porphyry that give the wines structure and mineral freshness. The Selezione line stands for hand-picked grapes from the best plots of the vintage.

In the glass, a light straw yellow appears. The nose is clear and direct: white peach, pear, and a hint of almond, plus a fine floral note. On the palate, the wine is slender and precise — not a broad, heavy style, but a lively acid structure that keeps the wine vibrant. The finish is clean and of pleasant length.
