A Day at the Seaside Sauvignon Blanc secco Alcohol-Free

An alcohol-free Secco made from Sauvignon Blanc by the Hammel & Cie winery in the Palatinate region — for everyone who wants to raise a glass without alcohol in it. With "A Day at the Seaside," Hammel & Cie has developed a line that highlights the character of the grape variety.

The Sauvignon Blanc clearly conveys its typical varietal aromas even without alcohol: gooseberry, citrus grass, a hint of green apple, and a slightly spicy finish. Fine bubbles, a light body, and freshness that lasts until the last sip.

Serve chilled to 6–8 °C — as an aperitif, for summer brunch, or with light salads, goat cheese, and grilled vegetables. A serious option for pregnant women, travelers, or anyone who wants to keep a clear head in the evening.

Weingut Hammel & Cie

Since 1723, the Hammel & Cie winery in Kirchheim an der Weinstraße has been one of the reliable addresses in the Palatinate – today, Christoph Hammel is already running the business in the ninth generation. You can feel almost three centuries of family tradition in every bottle: this is not about short-term trends, but about consistency that has grown over generations.

On 42 hectares around the historic village center of Kirchheim, Riesling, Burgundy varieties, Sauvignon Blanc, and now also Grüner Veltliner grow – and in one of the mildest climate regions in Germany. This special warmth, combined with the diverse soils of the Palatinate, gives the grapes a ripeness that you can taste in the end in the glass. In the vineyard, the family sticks to proven traditions; in the cellar, they consciously rely on the targeted use of steel and wood to give each grape variety exactly the framework it needs.

The result is wines with a clear signature and aromatic fruit that deliver exactly what the family itself formulates as its leitmotif: to bring joy. Whether for an uncomplicated evening or a special occasion – at Hammel & Cie you will find wines that combine tradition and Palatinate joie de vivre in a completely natural way.
