Don Zoilo Oloroso Sherry

The Don Zoilo Oloroso from Williams & Humbert comes from Jerez de la Frontera – one of the oldest sherry houses in Andalusia, founded in 1877. Oloroso means “fragrant”, and this style matures oxidatively in the cask without a protective flor layer: The result is a deep, full-bodied profile that impresses with nuts, walnut and a hint of dark dried fruit.

In the glass, it displays the typical bright amber color of the style. On the palate, it is dry, with a soft body, restrained acidity, and a long, nutty finish. Serving suggestion: slightly chilled at 12–14 °C, in a white all-purpose wine glass.

A classic accompaniment to Jamón Ibérico , aged Manchego cheese, or hearty braised dishes – such as pot roast, lamb, and dark mushroom sauces. Also enjoyable on its own as a quiet digestif after a meal.

Williams & Humbert

Williams & Humbert is one of the great names of Jerez – founded in 1877, it is today one of the most traditional houses in Andalusia. From its extensive bodegas in Jerez de la Frontera come sherries that cover the entire spectrum of the Solera system: from bone-dry Fino to dark, nutty Oloroso. The characteristic combination of Atlantic climate, Albariza chalk soils, and decades of cask aging makes every sip a piece of Jerez history.
