Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) Blason de L'Evangile Magnum HK

Blason de l'Évangile is the second wine of Château l'Évangile – one of the most prestigious estates in Pomerol, owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1990. The magnum format noticeably benefits the wine: longer aging development, more stable aromatics, and a longer drinking window.

In the glass, it displays a deep ruby ​​red with violet reflections. The nose offers aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant, and a hint of violet – typical of Merlot-dominated Pomerol soils with their blue hue and gravel. On the palate, it is silky and full-bodied, with ripe, fine-grained tannins without harshness, and well-integrated acidity. The finish is fruity and fresh, with a pleasant length.

• Temperature: 16–18 °C, open approximately 30 minutes before pouring.
