Creme de Cassissee Cassis de Dijon

Crème de Cassis de Dijon is a creamy liqueur made from French blackcurrants with an intensely berry-like flavor and a thick consistency. Only high-quality blackcurrants, such as Noir de Bourgogne and Royal de Naple, from the Dijon and Burgundy region are used. The fruit is steeped in pure alcohol for two months, giving the liqueur its high fruit content. To enjoy the aroma of fully ripe blackcurrants, Cassissée is served neat or as a mixer for classic cocktails like Kir, Kir Royal, and Kir Imperial. For a cocktail, pour the liqueur into a wine glass and top with well-chilled, dry white wine. Cassissée liqueur is also excellent as a flavor enhancer in desserts such as ice cream, quark or yogurt dishes, sorbets, or crêpes. Once opened, the liqueur should be refrigerated due to its high fruit content and natural ingredients.

Campari

When you think of aperitivo, you think of Campari. Since Gaspare Campari created his bittersweet herbal liqueur in Milan in 1860, the group has stood for the Italian pre-meal ritual – unpretentious, convivial, and unmistakably red. Today, the Campari Group unites over 50 brands under one roof, including Aperol from Padua in the Veneto region, the non-alcoholic Crodino, and the artichoke bitter Cynar. What they all have in common: recipes that have stood the test of time and a keen sense for the perfect moment in the afternoon.
