Bolla Valpolicella DOC Classico half bottle

Bolla Valpolicella DOC Classico half bottle
A classic Valpolicella from the heart of the Classico zone – approachable, uncomplicated and in the practical 0.375-l format just right for a glass in the evening.
Bolla is one of the most renowned names in Veneto. Founded in Soave in 1883, the winery shaped the region's international image for decades. Valpolicella Classico originates from the core area west of Verona – municipalities such as Negrar, Marano, and Sant'Ambrogio – where the Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varieties thrive in calcareous soils.
In the glass, it displays a bright ruby red color. The nose offers sour cherry, pomegranate, and a hint of dried herbs – typical of the light, fresh style of the Classico zone. On the palate, it is medium-light in body, with lively acidity, soft tannins, and a short, fruit-forward finish.
Serving temperature: 16–17 °C. Drinking window: now. The half-bottle format (0.375 l) is practical if you don't want to dedicate an entire evening to a bottle – or as an accompaniment to a solo dinner.
Goes well with pasta al ragù, pizza Margherita, grilled vegetables or mild pecorino.
