Baron Edmond de Rothschild Château des Laurets 1.5L. Magnum

A Bordeaux from the Rothschild house that shows its best form in the magnum format – the 1.5-liter bottle matures more slowly and evenly than the standard size, giving the wine more time to develop complexity.

Château des Laurets is located in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, right on the border with Saint-Émilion. The estate belongs to the Edmond de Rothschild Heritage group, which focuses its properties on organic and sustainable farming. The château is one of the group's larger and more ambitious projects on the right bank of the Dordogne.

Deep purple in the glass. On the nose, blackberry, plum, and a hint of vanilla – a classic profile from the right bank with gentle oak spice in the background. Medium-bodied on the palate, soft tannins, and a fruity-sweet finish without heaviness. Approachable now, with potential for another three to five years of cellaring.
