Baron Edmond de Rothschild Château Clarke 1.5L Magnum

Baron Edmond de Rothschild Château Clarke 1.5L Magnum is a classic red wine from Listrac-Médoc in the French Bordeaux region, bottled in a magnum bottle. The winery belongs to the Edmond de Rothschild family and is classified as a Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel.

The wine is based on a blend of approximately 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and is aged in small oak barrels, resulting in velvety tannins and subtle oak notes. In the glass, it displays a dark, brilliant ruby red; the nose is concentrated with ripe black berries, plums, and light spice accents.

On the palate, the Magnum is full-bodied, structured, and balanced, with juicy fruit, clearly perceptible yet elegant acidity, and a long, spicy finish. It is best served at around 16–18 °C, ideal with beef and lamb or aged cheese, and is also suitable for somewhat longer aging, as the magnum bottle promotes particularly gentle maturation.
