Baron Edmond de Rothschild Le Merle Blanc de Chateau Clarke
Baron Edmond de Rothschild – Le Merle Blanc de Château Clarke is an elegant white wine from the heart of Bordeaux, blending the house's tradition with refined modernity. Made from classic Médoc white grape varieties, this cuvée impresses with its clean lines, fresh fruit, and subtle complexity, all harmoniously displayed in the glass.
In the glass, it shines a bright, luminous yellow with green reflections. The nose is characterized by ripe citrus fruits, grapefruit, and yellow apple , along with delicate floral nuances and a hint of white blossoms. On the palate, a lively, invigorating acidity unfolds, providing tension and drinkability without any harshness. The body is light to medium-bodied, very well-structured, and finishes cleanly and with a juicy freshness.
Le Merle Blanc is an excellent accompaniment to fish, seafood, light pasta dishes, or summer appetizers with lemon and herbs. Served at around 8–10 °C , it accentuates the freshness and aromas of the food without overpowering it. A charming, single-varietal Bordeaux white that impresses with its elegance, style, and drinkability.
